Once again, Calgary Marathi Association (CMA) has been selected to participate in Calgary Stampede Parade 2025, making our 4th consecutive year in the Biggest Outdoor Show on Earth! 🎊

Parade Date/Time: Friday July 4th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Theme: India – Unity in Diversity (‘भारत – विविधतेतील एकता’)

Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly over the past six months to bring something extraordinary to this year’s celebration. Here’s what you can look forward to:

🐎 For the First Time – Horses & a Heritage Wagon!

CMA will proudly present a majestic horse-drawn wagon featuring iconic Indian historical leaders who fought valiantly against the invaders. Dressed in traditional attire, these community influencers will embody our rich legacy and bravery.

💃🕺 Unity in Diversity
As a part of our vibrant cultural troupe, showcasing India’s diverse culture through colorful costumes and synchronized moves, we are excited to collaborate with other Indian associations – 

• APCAA (Amra Probhashi Cultural Association of Alberta)
• OSCAA (Odia Community Association in Alberta)
• RANA (Rajasthan Alliance of North America)
• UPAC (Uttar Pradesh Association of Calgary)

🥁 Dhol-Tasha Magic!
The CMA parade is not complete without the electrifying beats of our Dhol Tasha Pathak. Their thunderous rhythm and boundless energy will keep the crowd pumped all along the parade route.

Our 85-member strong crew is already in full preparation mode with practice sessions held every Tuesday and Thursday. Feel free to cheer them up, your encouragement means the world!
